GRADE 6

Busy Bee’s in Grade 6

Term 2 started with a bang with 3 of the Grade 6’s attending camp and enjoying it immensely. Please view the photos in the camp section of the newsletter.

They have also participated in the Interschool Cross Country this term. It was great to see the three girls who attended, challenge themselves by running in a more difficult level. View photos in the Grade 5/6 P.E. section of the newsletter.

The girls have been working very hard on technology tasks that are building onto what they are learning in History. See the topics in the Grade 5/6 integrated section of the newsletter. As has been mention in the integrated section, the girls are using “wikispaces” and office documents instead of workbooks.

I recommend the Grade 6’s continue to work on their quick recall of times tables, division, addition and subtraction facts.

It is also very import that all students read for 30 minutes a day, whether it be Reading Eggs text or books they have borrowed from the library. They also need to record the reading into a log with reflections.

Other things that need to be noted;

Thursday

Friday

Other important notes:

All the best for term 2.
